OM3 10G is a type of fiber optic cable that is designed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) applications. It is a multi-mode fiber (MMF) cable that is composed of two strands of glass fiber, each with a diameter of 50 microns. OM3 10G is capable of transmitting data up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 300 meters. It is also backward compatible with existing OM2 and OM1 cables, allowing for easy upgrades.
