Cat6a cables are the latest generation of Ethernet cables, designed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet. They are backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 cables, and are capable of providing up to 10 Gbps speeds over a distance of up to 100 meters. Cat6a cables are thicker than Cat6 cables, and feature a thicker insulation and shielding to reduce crosstalk and interference. They are also more expensive than Cat6 cables, but are ideal for applications that require high-speed data transfer.
